SELECTING A CORE CHUCK

We have developed a number of different styles of core chucks to fit a variety of parent roll holding situations for customers across the industry. From 3” parent rolls on hard wound lines to 16” parent rolls on tissue lines we have a solution that will work for you. Our core chuck designs build from a common mechanical concept that has been used in industry for years but also includes an innovative use of materials, fasteners, and manufacturing techniques that result in superior products that hold up in demanding environments year after year.

OUR APPROACH & SERVICE

We start by understanding your operation and your specific production objectives. Once we know your production equipment and operating environment we partner with our customers; superintendents, managers, project engineers, or line operators to supply the right style and configuration of core chuck that will meet your specific needs. We start with one of our styles and work to modify our designs to insure the proper paper spacing, back-stand clearances, mandrel and or tapered nose fit. We also provide unique (smart) part numbering for your solution so that it can be easily identified long term and we archive that information for ease in referencing years after any purchase.

IMPROVED CORE CHUCK PERFORMANCE

Our mechanical designs in combination with the utilization of composite plastics result in core chucks that are durable and that can be substantially lighter in weight than traditional steel or aluminum core chucks. While our customers have found our core chucks very durable operator accidents can and do happen from time to time. In the event of any deformation of our core chucks only the damaged component that need to be replaced can be replaced making our solutions repairable. This insures a product that is ultimately serviceable and helps to reduce the long-term cost of operation in your plant.
